Feyenoord are reportedly interested in signing Napoli striker Duvan Zapata as a replacement for Graziano Pelle this summer.
The Dutch side have apparently put the 23-year-old at the top of their list of players to possibly take the place of Pelle, who joined Southampton in July, but it seems the Partenopei are unwilling to let the forward go at this time.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli have rejected Feyenoord’s first attempt to sign the Colombian on a loan deal, though the Eredivisie club are expected to arrange a new proposal in the coming days.
Zapata’s future with the Azzurri has also come into question since the recent arrival of Michu from Swansea City, which could cause the former Estudiantes man to see less time on the pitch during the 2014-15 season.
The striker scored five goals and provided two assists in his 16 Serie A appearances during his debut season at Napoli last term.
