Vice-president of AC Milan, Adriano Galliani has spoken out on the club’s need to sign a quality striker before the transfer period ends.
With Mario Balotelli leaving the ranks the Rossoneri are in desperate need of a replacement and Galliani has revealed his wish list.
During an interview with Sky Sport Italia, Galliani talked up the prospect of bringing in Chelsea striker Fernando Torres as he praised the 30 year old, proclaiming, “Torres is a great center forward”.
The 70 year old also mentioned the likes of Fulham’s Konstantinos Mitroglou, as well as Roma’s Mattia Destro.
Galliani expects difficulty in respects to all of his targets though as he does not foresee Roma selling Destro and that acquiring Mitroglou may be a challenge
With the transfer window closing on Monday, Galliani and AC Milan need to act fast if they are to fill the void Mario Balotelli has left.
