During the summer the Nerazzurri brought in Gary Medel and Yann M’Vila to add to their central options, supplementing the January arrival of Hernanes from Lazio as well as Crotian youngster Mateo Kovacic.
According to Tuttosport the club are unwilling to allow the 28-year-old to leave on loan and therefore the most likely destination for the former Porto man is Russia with Inter awaiting a firm offer from Zenit St Petersburg, which could then spark a move for Atalanta attacker Giacomo Bonaventura.
Guarin made 23 Serie A appearances for the Nerazzurri last season scoring three times and was caught up in the controversial unsuccessful swap deal between the Milan club and champions Juventus also involving striker Mirko Vucinic.
