Jose Callejon - NapoliLiverpool are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Napoli winger Jose Callejon.

The 27 year old Spaniard, who moved to Napoli under Rafael Benitez in the summer of 2013 for a transfer fee of  €9.5 million from Spanish giants Real Madrid, has since then gone on to make a name for himself at the Stadio San Paolo.

According to English newspaper, the Daily Mail, Liverpool are interested in adding Callejon to their attack for the upcoming season as they look to bolster their side to be able to compete in four competitions – Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.

It has also been suggested that despite the failed attempts of Atletico Madrid at securing the Partenopei attacker, the Reds have been constantly tracking him throughout this summer transfer window. However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis sees Callejon as an indispensable player and it would take a large offer for him to consider letting the player leave.

Callejon scored 15 goals and provided six assists for Napoli in the Serie A last season as he helped them qualify for UEFA Champions League this season.
