Llorente: Juventus must continue in this direction
The 29 year old Spaniard scored a first half hat-trick as Juventus ran riot in an 8-1 thrashing over an Indonesian Super League all-stars team on Wednesday.
“It’s important to get in shape as fast as possible, I think the attitude has been good by all. We must continue in this direction,” he told the club’s official website.
“Today [Wednesday] was a good workout, but we still have to improve in all senses because this year will be more difficult, all teams will want to win the Serie A and we need to prepare well, in view of the Champions League.”
This season the entire Juventus squad will be looking to improve upon a disappointing Champions League campaign after finishing third in a group containing Real Madrid, Galatasaray and Copenhagen.
