The Partenopei are set to add the Belgian International after he was told by coach Louis van Gaal that he doesn’t have a future with the Red Devils.
According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United has accepted the loan offer which includes the Partenopei paying for half of Fellaini’s salary.
It is also thought that the deal could be completed in the next few days.
The 26-year-old would be able to step right in and fill the hole left by Valon Behrami’s recent departure to Hamburg in Germany.
Fellani moved to Manchester United last summer from Everton for €32.4 million, but didn’t make much of a splash, with no goals and just three assists in 25 appearances.
