Napoli defender Federico Fernandez is expected to soon seal a move to Premier League side Swansea.
The Partenopei have no issues in letting the 25 year old leave the club with the player having been left out of Napoli’s Champions League squad.
The South Wales Evening Post are reporting that an €10 million deal for the Argentine will go through following successful completion of a medical.
The former Estudiantes player however, will not be available for Swansea’s opening league game against Manchester United at Old Trafford due to an apparent lack of match fitness.
Fernandez is expected to replace the departed Spanish defender Chico Flores at the Welsh club.
He made 36 appearances for Napoli last season and was also part of the Argentina squad that made the final at the World Cup in Brazil.
