Former Bari defender Nicola Legrottaglie has returned to the club where it all began.
Legrottaglie who played for the Galletti for four years from 1994 to 1998 has returned to the club as a coach of the youth team.
Speaking to Itasportpress.it the former Juventus defender said, “To be the coach of the youth team is a project that fascinates me because I can teach the boys to become the footballers of tomorrow.
“I will show them the importance of a certain behavioral path and the importance of technical ability,” the ex-Italian international continued.
“I will try to show them how to learn and have fun on the playing field without being haunted by the result of the game.”
It is something of a home coming for defender as he was born in Gioia del Colle, a province of Bari and made 17 first team appearance for the Biancorossi before moving onto Chievo.
