Parma midfielder Sotiris Ninis is set for a move back to his homeland of Greece this summer.

The 24 year old Greek international is reportedly not needed at the club this season by boss Roberto Donadoni, and is free to leave.

Ninis was once touted as his nation’s brightest prosepect, but a series of disappointing seasons, his latest on loan with PAOK, has seen his stock fall dramatically.

La Gazzetta dello SportĀ report that Parma will allow Ninis to return to Greece this season, with a number of top division sides interested in his services.

Asteras Tripolis and AtromitosĀ are leading the chase for the winger and his future should be resolved soon.

Ninis joined Parma from Greek giants Panathinaikos in the summer of 2012, but has failed to establish himself in the side.
