Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has urged his teammate Arturo Vidal to stay at Turin this season.

The 21-year-old international from France, who moved to the La Vecchia Signora under Antonio Conte in the summer of 2012 on a free transfer from English giants Manchester United, has since then become one of the most vital players for Juventus.

During a press conference on the eve of his side’s game against A-league Stars on their preseason tour of the Asia and Pacific region, Pogba stated that the whole Juventus squad want Vidal to stay at Turin while also speaking of his objectives for this season under new boss, Massimiliano Allegri.

We’re hearing that Arturo is going but we don’t know,“ he admitted. For the moment, he is injured and he is trying to get fit.

We want Arturo to stay here, at Juventus. At the moment he is here, so we will not speak about him leaving.

We want to win the Scudetto again. Allegri has already lifted the Scudetto once before. The club and the president, all have the utmost faith in him.

We are very happy to work with Allegri.

Pogba also spoke of the surprise at witnessing large number of supporters outside of Italy following Juventus very passionately.

I did not imagine that we have so many fans outside of Italy and outside Europe. For us it is very important to know of this and for them it is nice to witness their teams live.

The game against the A-League All Stars? These matches in preparation are important for the whole team. We need to be focused and to be better prepared for the season.

For the moment we are taking the same form of the past.  Working hard without possession of the ball. It is all very similar and on the other hand, when you play for three years with a pattern and you win, you should certainly change that a lot.

You only need to maintain some features and improve others. And that is what the coach is trying to do. If I score more with him? A midfielder must defend, attack and create the game.

Scoring is a bonus and I will try to achieve that.
