Queens Park Rangers are attempting to sign Juventus defender Mauricio Isla on loan, but have also enquired about his teammate Sebastian Giovinco.

Isla is currently behind Stephan Lichsteiner in the pecking order at the Juventus Stadium and the club are reportedly willing to discuss letting the player leave the club on loan for the Premier League.

Sky Sport Italia reports that another man who could be swapping Turin for London is Sebastian Giovinco, as QPR have used negotiations for Isla as an opportunity to also ask about the Italian international’s availability.

The 27-year-old, who previously enjoyed spells on loan with Empoli and Parma, has just one year left on his contract and so the Bianconeri could allow him to leave to avoid losing him for free next summer, with the arrival of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid last month seemingly limiting his chances further.

Neither player is considered a first team regular for the Old Lady with Giovinco only managing two goals in 19 appearances last season, whilst Chilean international Isla appeared 21 times in all competitions.
