Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt will wait until later in the month for a permanent move to AC Milan.

The Moroccan international spent the latter half of last season on loan with the Rossoneri but has since returned to England.

Tuttomercatoweb understands Milan will look to prolong negotiations for Taarabt in order to get the best possible price.

Despite the Italian sides interest in a variety of options Taarabt is determined to continue his career at the San Siro.

Should Milan fail in their attempts to sign a big money player then they would still have the QPR man as an option.

The newly-promoted English side will be forced to decrease their €7m asking price to a figure closer to €4m.

Taarabt scored four goals in 14 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri and made two assists.
