Roma goalkeeper Gianluca Curci is extremely close to signing for newly promoted French club Lens.
The 29 year old Italian spent the last two seasons on loan at Bologna, but is deemed surplus at the capital with his contract expiring in June 2015.
L’Equpe report that have agreed a deal to take the shot-stopper to France, and an official announcement is expected in the coming hours.
A fee has not been reported, but it is expected to be nominal given his contract situation.
Lens won promotion back to the Ligue 1 last season, and are aiming to stave off relegation and remain in the top flight.
