Roma have drawn up a list of three defenders to replace Mehdi Benatia if the Moroccan international leaves the club.
The former Udinese man is being heavily linked with a move away from Rome, with Manchester United reportedly bidding €30 million for the player.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma have identified Lille’s Marko Basa, Tottenham Hotspurs’ Vlad Chiriches, and Porto’s Rolando as the ideal men to fill the void left by Benatia.
The report also states that Olympiacos defender Kostas Manolas was initially on the club’s radar but the 23-year-old seems set to join Arsenal.
It is also worth mentioning that Benatia has made 37 appearances since his move from Udinese in the summer of 2013, scoring five goals in the process.
