The capital club have been on the hunt for another defender to bolster their squad for the upcoming season and have seemingly come very close to an agreement for the 26 year-old.
Speaking to Serbian website Sport, the centre back said, “I would like the two clubs to come to an agreement, as an opportunity like this only arrives once in a lifetime.
“I am extremely honoured by Lazio’s interest.”
The Serbian cap made 25 appearances and scored one goal for Partizan last season as they finished runners-up in the Serbian top flight.
