Torino are reportedly eyeing a move for former AC Milan star Alexandre Pato.

The 24-year-old Brazilian left Serie A in January 2013 after an injury hit year with the Rossoneri and moved to Corinthains. Now with Sao Paulo, he could be on his way back to the peninsula before the transfer window closes.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Torino have contacted the Brazilian club about the striker’s availability, as they search for a back-up should Alessio Cerci leave the club.

Cerci, valued at €20 million, has been linked to AC Milan all summer, with Atletico Madrid and Arsenal also said to be interested, though Torino are adamant they will only sell if the price is right.
