Young Fiorentina attacker Khouma Babacar was satisified with his sides performance against Genoa but conceded they must be more clinical in front of goal.

The Viola were held to a goal less draw at home to Genoa with Mattia Perin in the Rossoblu goal thwarting Vincenzo Montella’s side on a number of occasions.

“Today we were not able to score, but I am convinced that we will will reach our targets,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“I’m very happy to be back in Florence after the (loan) experience at Modena. Today? We only missed the goal, but as I said I’m sure it will come.”

The Senegalese forward also stressed he has no doubt strike partner Mario Gomez will soon start hitting the back of the net.

“I’m sure he will score in the next match, the championship is long, and I’m sure he will give us alot of satisfaction.”

Fiorentina take on Atalanta in their next Serie A encounter.
