Despite winning their first fixture upon their return to Serie A, Bisoli’s men were outclassed and outplayed at the Stadio Olimpico as the Biancocelesti cruised to a 3-0 win in front of their home fans.
And Bisoli wasn’t keen on making any excuses for his side being unable to put up much of a fight.
“[Simply put], we faced off against a team that was hurting after a bad game against AC Milan and wanted to immediately redeem themselves,” he stated to Radio Rai after the game.
“Lazio dominated the entire first half in terms of possession and we barely even got a sniff of the ball. [Moreover], we did not work as a team and as a result, did not make things difficult for them whatsoever.
“All in all, they played a great match, but we made it easier for them by not being able to put up a fight due to our lack of desire in bringing the game to them.”
