Atalanta coach Stefano Colantuono feels his side had difficulties against Hellas Verona in their home season opener.

The 51-year-old coach spoke about the disappointing 0-0 draw at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.

“It was a very difficult game tactically,” Colantuono lamented.

“Verona put us in some difficult circumstances with both teams leaving little space and giving few opportunities.”

Colantuno also addressed the potential for further activity in the transfer market with speculation surrounding the departure of Atalanta star Giacomo Bonaventura.

“We’ll see what is forthcoming in the market,” Colantuno said.

“Regarding Bonaventura I do not know. What has not happened in two months can happen in five minutes.”
