Fiorentina starlet set for new deal

Young Fiorentina star is set to sign a new contract with the club in the coming weeks.

The 20-year-old Italian winger had a spectacular season out on loan at Crotone last season, netting 12 goals in 39 appearances, and looks set for a bright future with the Viola.

Bernardeschi made his Serie A debut against Genoa last weekend, and scored in his Europa League debut against Guingamp on Thursday evening.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that Bernardeschi‘s agent Nicola Pecini met with the club on Friday to discuss a new contract that will tie him in Florence until 2018.

Fiorentina will also reward the youngster with a pay rise that will be substantial increase on his current deal.
