Inter are continuing to monitor the progress of Atalanta star Daniele Baselli as they eye a concrete move for the youngster.

The 22 year old Italian midfielder enjoyed a splendid campaign with the Orobici last season, which has led to interest from bigger teams in Italy.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Inter director Piero Ausilio is keeping tabs on Baselli’s performances this season as he weighs up whether to make a bid or not.

A lot depends on the possible departure of Inter midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic however, as if the Serbian leaves, a slot opens up for another midfielder which could be Baselli’s.
