Inter defender revels in Brazil call-up
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a good start at his new club, and has been rewarded with a call-up for his national team in the friendlies against Argentina and Japan.
“I’m really happy, I did not think the call would arrive right now because Brazil played recently so I could not know,” Dodo told SporTV.
“It was really a nice surprise, my evolution is due to the number of games I’ve played, but also to the fact that I changed the level of compeition.
“In Italy, it is a more tactical type of game, maybe a bit slower when compared to other European leagues.
“Defensively, I’m working on that aspect a lot. I must say that for my position and for my daily learning, it matters a lot the fact that I’m playing for Inter.”
