Italy v Netherlands - Immobile and ZazaEnrico Castellacci, the team doctor of the Italian national side has reassured Borussia Dortmund that the striker will not be out for too long.

Immobile was stretchered off during the Azzurri’s 2-0 win over Norway on Tuesday night, however Castellacci revealed the injury is not as bad as first feared.

Speaking to Rai Sport, Castellacci said: “Immobile received a strong, blunt trauma to the hip, so at the beginning there was very little movement in the joint. However, it’s much better now and I’m not worried about it. We can reassure Borussia Dortmund.”

Sassuolo forward Simone Zaza also received an injury during the match with Norway, but Castellacci was similarly relaxed about his prognosis: “He has a big cut on his leg, but that’s the kind of thing which can be treated very quickly.”

Twenty-three-year old Zaza made his competitive debut for Italy against Norway, and opened the scoring with a deflected strike.
