Queens Park Rangers have had an initial bid in the region of €15 million accepted by Liverpool for striker Fabio Borini.

The 23-year-old reportedly rejected a move to Sunderland last month despite the two clubs agreeing a fee because the Italian wanted to stay and fight for his place at Anfield.

However BBC are reporting that after the arrival of Mario Balotelli from AC Milan, Borini might be forced to move away from the club as QPR boss Harry Redknapp looks to replace Loic Remy after he completed a move to Chelsea on Sunday.

Inter have also been linked with a move for Borini but with Fredy Guarin unlikely to be sold, it appears the Italian’s future will remain in the Premier League.

Borini spent last season on loan at Sunderland where he scored seven goals in an impressive campaign prompting manager Gus Poyet to chase the forward on a permanent deal this summer.
