Lazio president Claudio Lotito sparked controversy when he mocked Juventus director Beppe Marotta eyes.
The Lazio president made the gaff during a break at the Serie A club Assembly meetings on Friday.
“The problem with Marotta is that you don’t know where to look,” Lotito told reporters at the Assembly.
“The problem with Marotta is that he’s playing pool with one eye and counting the scores with the other.”
The Juventus general director suffers with strabismus, a condition where the eyes are not properly aligned.
Lotito was also an outspoken supporter of the FIFC president Carlo Tavecchio whose ill-advised comments on black players also caused outrage during his re-election campaign.
