Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman could be set to for a move to Manchester United as reports suggest the English club continue to monitor his situation with the Giallorossi.

The 24 year old is said to have ditched his current agent in favour of the Sports Entertainment Group, the same agents who oversaw Robin Van Persie’s move to Old Trafford two seasons ago.

The Daily Mirror report that Manchester United will bid up to 32 million for the Dutch midfielder in an attempt to unsettle the former PSV Eindhoven man and pressure the Giallorossi into a sale.

Strootman has a long term knee injury but is doing all he can to get back to full fitness. He was a central figure in Roma’s midfield and made 25 appearances scoring five times before he was struck down with his knee issues.
