Manchester United to replace Juventus as AC Milan’s Trofeo Berlusconi opponents

The Trofeo Berlusconi will return on November 5, 2014, for the first time since August 2012, after taking a year and a half hiatus, with Manchester United inline to face AC Milan.

The tournament was established in 1995 by AC Milan owner and president Silvio Berlusconi and is usually held in August between the Rossoneri and Juventus, marking the end of pre-season.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus will not be featuring in the match at the San Siro, instead English powerhouse Manchester United will play the Rossoneri.

The last addition of the tournament in 2012 saw Juventus defeat Milan 3-2.
