Former Manchester City and Galatasaray coach Roberto Mancini is open to a move back to Italy, after rumours linked him with a job at Bologna.
The recently-relegated Serie B side are currently engulfed in takeover talks, and a rumoured American consortium could look to appoint a new coach.
“There was contact and we talked about it. Someday in Bologna? I’ll see.”, the 49-year-old told Pallone Gonfiato.
Mancini managed in Italy for seven years before being lured by Premier League side Manchester City, but has been without a club since departing Galatasaray in June.
AC Milan have also been linked with the coach, who was heavily linked with both of the Italy and Juventus vacancies in the summer.
