Napoli’s latest signing, David Lopez has spoken positively on his recent move to the Serie A giants from La Liga side Espanyol.
Lopez recently secured a move to the Partenopei for a fee estimated to be €5 million.
The Spaniard took to Twitter to show his elation on his recent move by saying, “I’m happy to be in Naples, an important club with supporters.”
After what has been a relatively quiet summer for Napoli, the latest signing of Lopez has injected youth and a much-needed defensive presence in a squad that were prone to conceding last campaign.
The 24-year-old has signed a deal that will keep him at the Stadio San Paolo for five years.
