Torino midfielder Antonio Nocerino will miss today’s match against Hellas Verona after sustaining a muscle injury.
The 29-year-old recently joined Il Toro in the summer on-loan from AC Milan and was expected to be a key player in Torino’s charge to finish in the top seven of Serie A, in order to secure successive European spots.
However, according to reports the hard-man underwent scans revealing he has a grade two tear in his left hamstring.
Accordingly, the former Palermo player is likely to miss up to a month of football for his hamstring to fully recover.
