Udinese beat Parma 4-2 at the Stadio Friuli in Serie A on Monday evening.
Udinese continue their best start to the season in over ten years with this win over the Gialloblu. A Antonio Di Natale brace was followed by a spectacular overhead by French defender Thomas Heurtaux and a sublime finish by Cyril Thereau.
Parma youngster Jose Mauri and a cheeky penalty by Antonio Cassano got on the the score sheet for Roberto Donadoni’s men as Afriyie Acquah saw red after two rash fouls in each half.

Made two fine quick fire saves in the first half and was unlucky with deflected Mauri goal.

Dived in to a couple of challenges and offered nothing going forward.

Made some fine headed clearances and looked composed.

Will be remember for the spectacular overhead kick goal. Made a goal saving clearance in first half.
Silvan Widmer – 7.5 – Productive
Looked a threat all night down the right, Set up first goal with great cross and involved in second. Very promising young player.
Emmanuel Badu – 6.5 – Composed
Headed down to Di Natale for first udinese goal and fired in a few shots during the game.
Allan – 6.5 – Neat
Composed in midfield with some neat touches, kept things ticking over

Made some good runs down the left, faded in second half
Panagiotis Kone – 7 – Involved
Nice ball over the top in build up to first Udinese goal, some good efforts on goal and involed throughout. Booked on 38 Minutes.
Cyril Thereau – 7.5 – Energetic
Baged a fine goal on 82 minutes and produced a nice dummy to set up Di Natale for his second goal.
Antonio Di Natale – 8 – Finisher
Showed his class once again in front of goal with two calm finishes, linked up play with his teammates.

Couldn’t do much about any of the goals and made a few fine saves but won’t be happy conceding four.

Caught in possession a couple of times and suffered a wrist injury early on. Substituted at half-time.
Alessandro Lucarelli – 4.5 – Sluggish
Looked slow throughout, was asleep for second Di Natale goal.
Felipe – 4.5 – Ball watching
Caught out on few occasions, especially on first Udinese goal, followed the ball and left the Di Natale sneak in behind.

Didn’t offer much going forward and gave the ball away a few times, not a good night.
Jose Mauri – 7 – Promising
A very promising performance for the 18-year-old, scored Parma’s first and was taken down for the Cassano penalty. One to look out for.

Wasteful on the ball and the game bypassed the midfielder. Replaced on 65 minutes.
Afriyie Acquah – 4.5 – Stupid
Started off well but two stupid fouls saw the Ghanaian see red.

Defended well a couple of times, didn’t show a lot going forward. Replaced on 65 minutes.

Scored a cheeky penalty and set up Mauri for his goal. Still shows his class.

Not a great night, gave away the ball a few times and some bad crosses.
