Roma goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski could be in line to face Manchester City in their Champions League encounter.

First choice shot-stopper Morgan De Sanctis has reportedly suffered a thigh strain and looks likely to miss the match.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport the 23 year-old Polish keeper is expected to start the game for Rudi Garcia’s team.

The Giallorossi have a host of options in goal including veterans of Serie A in Bogdan Lobont and Gianluca Curci.

However Skorupski is the favourite to replace the stricken De Sanctis for one of Roma’s vital European clashes.

Skorpuski has made just two appearances for Roma and has a senior international cap with Poland.
