Roma striker Mattia Destro spoke of his happiness for the team after his side’s home win over Hellas Verona.
Destro who scored a spectacular 37 metre goal seemed only concerned for the team’s victory after the game.
The 23-year-old striker speaking to Mediaset Premium said: “I’m happy to have scored a goal, but it was important to win.
“My hug with Rudi Garcia? It just shows that ours is a great group we’re good together.”
When asked about the upcoming games in both Serie A and the Champions League Destro was calm in his outlook “Manchester City and Juventus we will play both challenges head on.
“The Scudetto race with Juventus is not just a duel, do not think we can already speak of just two teams the championship is still long. ”
Roma have won five games out of five so far this season and are level on points with Juventus ahead of their meeting on match day six.
