Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni believes that his side can still improve despite their 4-2 win against Parma at the Stadio Friuli.

The Bianconeri boss downplayed the significance of the Friulani’s fourth win in their opening five Serie A matches, insisting that getting to 40 points is his primary target.

“Credit to Parma, this was the first time that we had put in difficulty, especially on the left wing,” the 38-year-old tactician told Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“Thomas Heurtaux scored a great goal, he and Danilo are in great form.

“The goals that we scored were all spectacular, with the right actions the fruit of the boys’ labours will be great.

“We were not at one hundred per cent, so there is still work to do and we are here to do it.

“We have to get to 40 points and this start only serves to strengthen our mentality.

“We have to keep our feet on the ground.”
