Ricky Alvarez has revealed that he is excited to begin his adventure with Sunderland.
The 26-year-old Argentinian, who is on loan from Inter, also insisted that the English Premier League is the finest in the world.
“I cannot wait to play in the Premier League,” he told the Sunderland Echo.
“It is in my opinion the great league in the world and it has always fascinated me.
“It’s not time to work hard and find my feet in the team to be ready to take to the park.”
Alvarez has been capped on over five occasions for Argentina and made 90 appearances for Inter so far.
