Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta claims the Zebrette’s attacking options for the season are settled and the club will not sign Napoli attacker Duvan Zapata.

The Friulani club were interested in the services of the 23-year old Colombian striker but the Partenopei are not interested in parting with their young target hit man as coach Rafa Benitez is looking for Zapata to once again provide cover for Gonzalo Higuain.

“We were interested in [Zapata] but that talk is not reflective of the current situation and our attack is complete,” Giaretta told Napoli fan site TuttoNapoli.net.

Despite interest from other clubs, Udinese appear set to hold onto their own 23-year old Colombian in Luis Muriel, while adding depth in their attacking options by signing veteran striker Cyril Thereau from Chievo.
