Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp believes that AC Milan are no longer interested in landing winger Adel Taarabt.

The 25 year old Moroccan international spent last season on loan at Milan, but was unable to secure a permanent move to the Rossoneri despite the midfielder’s plea to remain in the peninsula.

“I don’t know where he’s got the green light to leave in January from, he had a green light to leave in the summer, but no one came in for him,” Redknapp told reporters at a pre-match press conference as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.

“He’s always had the green light to move, if somebody came in and paid the money for him that the club wants.

“If they don’t pay the money, he stays here.

“In fact, I only think about getting him fit, getting him in top condition, because we’re talking about a real talent here, someone that can make the difference for QPR.

“Awaiting a new Milan move? No, I don’t think Milan are interested in him anymore, no.”
