Advocaat: Attitude of Roma forward is keeping him out of Serbia squad
Advocaat has axed both Ljajic and Neven Subotic from the national side, and while he did admit that Ljajic is a very good player, he believes his side requires a different mindset.
“Ljajic out of the squad? We are talking about a good player, but a player who does not have the right mindset,” he stated as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.
“As far as I am concerned I only need players who are happy and I do not need those who will not feel at ease in the national team.”
Ljajic recently scored his first goal of the season during the Giallorossi’s 2-1 away victory against Parma.
