Rafa-Benitez-turista-a-NapoliNapoli boss Rafa Benitez has revealed that he’s fully focused on making sure the Azzurri are prepared for their next Serie A meeting with Inter on October 19.

The Partenopei are coming off of three straight wins in all competitions after a rocky start to the 2014-15 campaign and the tactician has been monitoring his players that are on international duty as he hopes his squad can deliver another positive performance during their visit to the San Siro to take on the Nerazzurri.

Benitez spoke through his official website on Friday about the progress of the Napoli players currently out on duty with their respective national teams and commented on the upcoming match with Inter.

“Yesterday we had the opportunity to follow some of the international games that were played, which were being attended by players in our squad,” said the 54-year-old.

“Slovenia’s victory over Switzerland, with Gokhan Inler as our main point of reference, and Spain’s defeat against Slovakia, where our attention had been focused on Raul Albiol and Marek Hamsik.

“We had gotten in touch with our players out on international duty and had wished them all lots of luck.

“Meanwhile, we are focused on preparing for our next league match which will be at the San Siro against Inter. As always, Forza Napoli.”
