Cesena cocah Pierpaolo Bisoli was pleased with his players despite seeing them loose 1-0 to Inter at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi.

Bisoli felt that the sending off of goalkeeper Nicola Leali, and the subsequent penalty conversion by Mauro Icardi, was the turning point for the game.

”We prepared all week for the game and then we have a player sent off after 30 minutes,” Bisoli told Sky Sport Italia.

“This seemed harsh, but we needed to stay firm. Today I am sorry, sorry for my players as this killed them”

Bisoli remains confident that his team has what it takes to remain in Serie A.

”We have this great spirit, we can have our say in any game and this can save us. Today we created chances and I am very pleased with my players and what they have done today.”

Cesana currently sit in 16th place in Serie A having collected only six points in their first eight games.
