Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has heaped praise upon coach Rafa Benitez, saying the Azzurri’s recent up turn in form is proof that the side are growing.
The Spaniard had reportedly been under pressure after a poor start to the season, but his position at the club looks much more secure after three consecutive wins in all competitions.
“Today I met Benitez, and I complimented him for the latest performance”, De Laurentiis said on Twitter.
“Benitez is doing a great job with a group that is growing every day without giving up anything until the last.
“I’m also happy for all the players who are showing attachment, and working with great professionalism.”
