Alexander Farnerud was disappointed with Torino’s defeat to Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, though was happy to return to the starting eleven.
Farnerud’s goal drew things level at 1-1, but Lazio ran out 2-1 winners at the final whistle.
”I am very happy to return [to the starting line up] and pleased to score, but I am upset about the result for the team,” the 30-year-old told the club’s official website.
“We were able to create chances but we were punished on two occasions. I am really disappointed with the result for the team. ”
Torino now find themselves 13th in Serie A having taken eight points from eight games this season.
