Former Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic is happy that his proposed move to Inter fell through, as he is now enjoying his football at Al Jazira in the United Arab Emirates.

The Montenegrin international has struck six goals in his first four games for the Arabian side, and doesn’t regret his January move to Inter collapsing at the last minute.

“For me it is a new experience, I feel good and have a lot of enthusiasm, the level of football is good,” the 31-year-old told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“For a minute I was at Inter, and then a minute later I was back at Juventus. I don’t think I’m unhappy with how things went.”

Al Jazira purchased Vucinic from the Bianconeri for a reported fee of €6 million.
