Inter match-winner Mauro Icardi says his 90th minute winner against Sampdoria on Wednesday evening was ‘important for everyone’ at the club.
The Nerazzurri have come under recent scrutiny with their performances as of late, and Icardi secured a dramatic late victory over high-flyers Sampdoria by tucking home a last minute penalty to win the game.
“It ‘san important goalfor everyone, for the teamandto give continuityto our work,” Icardi told Sky Sport Italia.
“A goal against [former club] Sampdoria is a normal goal, actually it’s them that have launched me.
“We don’t listen to the criticism,we keep it outof the locker room. We have tokeep winning.
“The whistles? Those who boo do not help us,I already told you. The realfans are the oneswho sing for90 minutes.”
