Inter’s Nagatomo: I know I can do better

Inter defender Yuto Nagatomo says he was disappointed with his performance during Japan’s 1-0 win over Jamaica on Friday, stating he know he can play better.

The Nerazzurri man nearly gifted Jamaica a goal as a back pass in the final minutes fell short but the Jamaicans failed to capitalize.

“I can certainly play better than that and I’m aware of it,” Nagatomo told reporters after the game as reported by fcinternews.it.

“My mistake nearly cost us the game and I know I can do better.”

The full-back’s will look to improve his performance as the Samurai Blue prepare to take on Brazil in an international friendly on October 14.
