Filippo Inzaghi AC MilanAC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi has urged his side to show their strengths in attack as they prepare to travel to the Stadio Sant’Elia to face Cagliari on Wednesday night.

The Rossoneri were held to a 1-1 draw with Fiorentina on Sunday and are hoping to bounce back with three points as they look to continue their push for Champions League football.

“We have the best offence in the league,” Inzaghi told the press.

“We were saddened by the draw with Fiorentina and I demand more from the players.

“We now have a tough match with Cagliari which will not be easy to win but we have a chance to make up ground in the standings,” he said.

Inzaghi also expressed his delight in meeting Zdenek Zeman competitively since becoming a manager in Serie A, noting that he is excited by the prospect of attacking football which Zeman is famed for.

“Facing a coach like Zeman is always a treat, it will be a contest of attacking football and those who come to the stadium will have fun.

“They are a difficult opponent and they have already won at the San Siro this season and we know they can create problems for anyone.

“However, all we can do is play to our strengths and pick up three important points,” he said.

Inzaghi also revealed a possibility in shuffling his strikers as he seeks to add a fresh injection to the team for the trip to Cagliari.

“Torres and Menez have already played together, if they are both in a position to again then they definitely will,” he continued.

“Pazzini has not played very often but I know I can count on players when they are ready  and I hope to find more space for him in the team.”

If the Rossoneri can defeat Cagliari on Wednesday, it may see them move into the top four if Lazio and Sampdoria fail to collect three points from their matches.
