Lazio boss Stefano Pioli has stated that he is content with his side after their 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona on Thursday evening.
The Aquile had their superb winning run ended after Luca Toni equalized with a second half penalty, cancelling out Senad Lulic’s opener in the first half.
“Weplayed a good game, it may seem strangebut I liked the way the team played tonight more than they did on Sunday,” Pioli told Sky Sport Italia.
“We probably could have had a little more determinationto close thegame in the second half.
“[The race for third place] We are one of many.There will beat least eight tonine teams that will battle forthe top five places, and Lazio is showing that we can beone of them.”
