Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar is hoping to learn and improve his game after his recent stunning strike for the Viola against Inter.

The Viola head into Sunday’s match against Lazio on the backs of a 3-0 victory over Inter before the international break, but Babacar knows that there is still work to be done in order to improve.

“This goal was very important to me but I still have to work hard,” the 21-year-old stated at a recent Save The Children charity event.

“It was perhaps the most important goal of mine as it was against [Samir] Handanovic.

“I celebrated with friends and eating a pizza. The coach has told me that I must learn to score ugly goals too.”

Babacar was asked about a potentially mouth watering partnership between himself and Mario Gomez when the German regains full fitness.

“Me and Gomez together in attack? I am always available to the coach regardless of who I play with.”
