New Udinese signing Ivan Piris is feeling confident ahead of his team’s match with Cesena.

The Zebrette have enjoyed a great start to the 2014/2015 Serie A campaign and currently sit in third place with 12 points from their first five matches. And, should they defeat their visitors in Sunday’s fixture, they will temporarily pull level with Scudetto favorites Juventus and Roma at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, the Paraguayan international, who joined Andrea Stramaccioni’s side this summer on a loan deal, recently discussed his return to Italy and how he’s settling in for a second spell in Italian football’s top flight.

“I feel very comfortable and confident here in this environment,” the 25-year-old stated to Udinese Channel.

“However, Cesena won’t be an easy opponent but if we can continue playing the way we have done so far, I think we can win again.

“As for where I play, whether it’s on the left wing or the right wing, it doesn’t matter. I’m available to feature wherever the coach decides to put me.”

Udinese will welcome Cesena to the Stadio Friuli at 15.00 CET.
