Udinese attacker Cyril Thereau is happy in his new surroundings since signing from Chievo in the summer despite reported interest from Inter in the summer.

The 31 year old Frenchman moved to Udine from Chievo after spending four years with the Verona based club.

“I have found a good group, I have found a good club where I feel good too,” he told Sky Sport 24. “This is a beautiful city, an important place.”

Thereau said that Chiveo’s asking price was important as a move to Inter drew close but said there are no hard feelings between he and the club as to why he didn’t go to the Nerazzurri.

“I can’t be mad at Chievo. They gave me the opportunity to move to Italy. I was good in four years in Verona, with more positives than negatives. Last season we struggled but there were positives.”

Thereau has scored twice in six Serie A appearances this season for Udinese, after scoring 30 in 128 games for the Flying Donkeys.
